Case Study

From guesswork
to granular.

A full-stack inventory and analytics platform built to provide complete financial clarity.

01 — The Problem

Flying blind with
no data.

A resale business selling thousands of items across live shows on Whatnot lacked a centralized system for tracking costs and margins.

No Inventory System

Thousands of items purchased across multiple loads with no centralized tracking. Items were frequently lost between warehouse zones.

Unknown Profitability

There was no mechanism to calculate profit per item, per show, or per load. Revenue was visible, but net margins were undefined.

Manual Everything

Data was fragmented across spreadsheets and third-party exports, requiring manual reconciliation.

02 — The Solution

Complete visibility.
Every single item.

I built a complete platform with three core interfaces: inventory management, profitability analytics, and financial reporting.

Inventory Management

Every item, tracked and organized

10,000+ items tracked across 4 loads from JCrew and Madewell. Each item cataloged with barcode, category, cost, MSRP, and warehouse zone. Real-time inventory shows every item at a glance.

Profitability Analytics

Profit margins on every single item

See hammer price, coupons, buyer-paid amounts, marketplace fees, net revenue, cost, and profit for each item sold. Sort by highest profit, filter by show, and toggle between WAC and per-show averages.

From idea to production.

I'm an entrepreneur and operator based in Birmingham, Alabama. Recently, I've become obsessed with what AI makes possible for non-technical builders like me. ProfitFlo is proof of concept. I identified the problem, designed the system, and shipped the entire platform.
